I'm Shungo, and I currently reside in the United States after having lived 7 years in Singapore. Before that, I've also lived in Japan, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
In the States, I am attending Cornell University - College of Engineering as a Computer Science major expected to graduate in June 2023.
My interests revolve around making meaningful consumer impact by designing algorithms and backend architectures that streamlines and expedites services. I was most recently able to do this as a Software Engineering Intern at All Vision Technologies, a startup that offers a platform for unsupervised machine learning. On campus, I am also a heavily-involved Backend Developer in Cornell AppDev, an engineering project team that powers apps that serve for thousands of users monthly.
Besides work, my hobbies include playing baseball, playing the piano, and playing games with my friends.
